As we've mentioned in the past, if there's one group ride that you should join each year it's the annual Ride Of Silence. This year is no exception.
Coming two days before National Bike to Work Day on May 18, The Ride of Silence is a slow, processional type ride where cyclists who were killed or injured in the previous year are honored and remembered. Also, the ride is meant to call attention to the need for patience and acceptance on the road for ALL road users - especially the vulnerable ones.
People, not speed.
